free facial!

Just wanted to share with you my (untill now) secret free facial!

LOL; it's pretty simple and I'm sure some of u have allready tried this at home, anywhoooo...
What u do is just to boil some water in a caserole and then hold your face over the damp till it sort of doesn't give any more damp....
It will open up the pores so that sits or worms or whatever are gonna wanna leave your skin.

neat?

I think this is a pretty good trick if you, like me, crave a facial, either if it's because it's winter and you haven't seen the sun for some time and aren't gonna for some more time and you're really starting to look like Gollum, or you just simply need to clean your face.
Work's for me!

And no! I'm not gonna put a youtube-video of nasty people filming their nasty skin-worms to complement this post!
thats just gros and makes me wanna spew!

instead this got me thinking of i-D magazine and the Agyness Deyn issue from 2008. In it it's especially one picture that I like where she's wearing zero makeup and looks flawless!
I have the issue at home but have no scanner and couldn't find that particular piture out here but at least here'e the cover/cover's!

found this pic at www.completeltd.com and hope they're ok with me posting it...

Just because Obama is in town

I woke up this morning to the sound of helikopters flying over my building and so in my half dreaming, half awake state of mind I thought, Oh well, the war finally got to us...
And I went on as I often do thinking we had it coming, we're one of the richest country's in the world and what good do we do? We're rich because someone else is poor, we all have blood on our hands and now the partys over.

But of course that was all nonsence, it's just that Obama is in town recieving his higly controversial nobel peace prize!

It's really weird how it effects everyone in Oslo, like one friend of mine who can't park outside his own house during the entire Obamas-visit, or another friend that has to go through a total security-check when she comes to work and then again when she leaves because she works so close to where Obama's going to be...
For me it worked out pretty good, I just had to change my work-schedule so that I switch today with tomorrow because we can't have delivery as we normally have on thursdays this week as they've closed the road today.
Whitch means I will be finished earlier tomorrow and that's just fine with me...

What a sircus though!

The Wonderfools and The Wildhearts tonight!!

Hi! in a hurry, today I'm off to Glassheim, Jevnaker to see two of my favorite bands in the world! the Wonderfools and the Wildhearts!(don't even ask me why they're playing at that God-forsaken place !#?%§¤??!)

So exited!

here's "never gonna make it" by Wonderfools from their latest album To late to die young.
This video is made from clips of their Germany-tour in 2005(?) where they played together with Böhse Onkelz.

and here's "I wanna go where the people go" by the Wildhearts, wanted to find "rooting for the bad guy" which is one of my favorite songs but it was only really bad audio...this song is also great!

enjoy!

dreams of lingerie...

Hi folks!
It's 7 below here in Oslo, that's aprox 19 fahrenheit whitch means you can actually freeze your ass off if you walk out the door without prober pantyhose and by proper I mean thick wool... and oh, don't try to google pantyhose, you'll just get shaved balls and pussy all over yor screen. Not cool:/

Anyway, who wants to think about practicall clothing??

Since it's soon X-mas I find myself saying stupid things to boyfriend like; so,... Sonia Rykiel has made underwear for H&M... Like he knows what that even means.

If you are reading though, dear<3, I'll take the vest thanyouverymuch!

oh and maybe the zipper-bra...

and here's a video from the event in Paris. looked like the place and the show and the props and all was awsome!

Monki store-opening in Oslo 24.nov.

The level of blogging at the Monki store-opening party last wednesday was just insane and I just found my picture at oslonights.no.
Posing a little acwardly, gotta work on that, but at least I got myself a little Monki friend and some free booze...

Gotta love the store!
Got so exited when I heard the swede's where opening a shop in Oslo, we could really need a concept-store with a real consept!

The designs are great, and the prizes even better, the only thing that kinda takes it down a few points, at least for me, is that with those prizes comes a lot of polyester... but I totally get it, it's for a young crowd that just want something cool that works NOW and I guess they gotta cut back somewhere...

reminds me a little bit of IKEA when they say; we design the prizetag first...

I mean that in the best possible way though, my home is full of IKEA and now also, a little Monki-friend:)

Here are some of my Monki-fave's...

french sleaze or hero? can't decide...

gawker covered self-confessed amateur pornographer Olivier Zahms gallery opening in NY last night.

I haven't decided yet if I think he's a sleaze or not...http://gawker.com/5416879/

don't watch people watching porn 06:30 in the morning:)

Wow, I can't really decide if I think this project is brave or just gros.
I was pretty much grossed out trying to look at it anyway, couldn't watch it all... and you don't have to either! it's comforting to know sometimes, that you don't actually have to look at anything just because someone postet it.

I just wanted to post this little note on the work of Robbie Cooper because the issue with porn is something that interests me a lot and I think it's really hard to say well this is OK and this is not OK and this is where we draw the line etc...
I basicly admire anyone who tries to approach this kind of white elephant of a theme(porn/erotica etc.) that seems to get more and more difficult to discuss...

enjoy! or don't...

if you're up for some pop-cultural darkness, do read the Beach

Puh! just finished reading the Beach!
You know.. the Alex Garland-book Danny Boyle made into a movie with Leonardo in 2000. Only, because it was such a blockbuster, they say Mr. Boyle and the author wasn't really that exited with the outcome of the movie, it was pretty boring...

Anyway, THE BOOK is good entertainment and since the movie left such a vague impression, it got real exiting!

It's just the perfect book to read when it's cold and dark and you want to dream yourself away to the warm sand and blue sea of Thailand but, not to make it to boring, sprinkle the dream with a little bit of nightmare...

welcome to surrounded by the forest!

I'm just gonna do it!
Why shouldn't I?
Everyone else is doing it, it's all over the goddamn world wide web!
So here it goes; I'm starting a blog.
As i allready told you I'm sorrounded by the forest so this blog is basically just an attempt to cover my need to stay in contact with the rest of the world and a channelI to spew out my thougt's in the widest range possible... My passions are many! so for now I'll just cover whatever interesting comes my way and take it from there.
let's just say as Def Leppard so wisely put's it: only time can tell if we can stand the test of time.
But i mean, get real, it's just a BLOG and I highly doubt it's gonna stand the test of time. Anyway, not looking for world dominance, so you don't wanna get your hopes up.
Hope you enjoy Sorrounded by the forest though...

yours truly.
